Benefits of Farming Organic

In the UK, the discussion of organic food is being revisited. According to the international development charity Progressio, organic farming can help alleviate farmers from poverty. Natural pesticides and fertilizers are producing larger crops sizes, decreasing debt and providing a healthier and higher standard of living. The irony is that these organic methods are the traditional methods, and in some countries the return of their original way of farming is working better than the new model was. The chemicals to farm are expensive, but the organic way can be much cheaper for the farmers. Even if the politics involved need to be smoothed out, going organic is helping poor farmers.
