Clean Water Found to be the Key to Acheiving MDGs


With only five years until the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) target is reached, experts are urging regional countries to prioritize programs that aim at increasing access to safe water and sanitation if the goals are to be achieved.

It is the belief of researchers and scientists that addressing this one problem can have positive impacts on the alleviation of multiple MDGs - poverty alleviation, reduction of child mortality, combating communicable diseases, improving maternal health...etc.
