Rwanda To Model U.S. Education

Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda, visited an Atlanta, Georgia school last month to establish a relationship that would ultimately lead to a sister school in Kigali, Rwanda.

Modeled after the U.S. style of education, they hope to build the Central Africa School of Excellence in the capital city to foster and educate future generations of principled leaders of the region. The school will consist of a college to educate the teachers, an athletic facility, a library, housing for students, trails, and parks.

"It's been interesting to see firsthand the vision and day-to-day practice of this school," said Mr. Kagame referring the the Atlanta school. "This has brought great appreciation for the initiative to replicate this in Africa."
