Increasing Access to Incubators in the Developing World

Incubators in the western world cost upwards of $20,000, making the care of premature infants in developing countries nearly impossible. At a recent TED talk, Jane Chen present The Embrace, a child sized sleeping bag-like product outfitted with a heat system to keep premature babies at a consistent 37 degrees (body temperature). The product is priced at $25 and hopes to become available sometime this year.
