Dirty Water For Sale!

400,000 children die every day because of a lack access to clean water. To raise awarness of this issue, during World Water Week (March 22-29) New Yorkers in Union Square were able to enjoy the benefits of DIRTY WATER, a campaign put on by UNICEF.

The goal was not simply to raise funds, but to shock the media and public with this alarming issue.

UNICEF did just that. New Yorkers were startled by the Yellow Fever, Hepatitis, Malaria and Cholera water bottles, which represented some of the diseases contracted by dirty water in developing countries.

"DIRTY WATER is not an actual product, but a real problem for millions of children around the world."

The campaign is still active and people continue to send donations online at tapproject.org or via text. Text TAP or AGUA to UNICEF (854233).
