African Countries to Join Together in the Fight Against Hunger

Researchers have recently called upon African countries to unite with one another in combating hunger throughout the continent.

The head of the Institute of African Studies at the University of Ghana, Dr. Kojo Aidoo asserts that the "creation of a strong network and links with partners from governments and non-governmental organizations will help farmers access export and domestic markets."

In addition, Dr. Aidoo proposed that the integration of different agencies, governments and organizations would reduce the cost of developing essential infrastructure which often lies beyond the means of individual countries.
