Famous "TED" Convention Talks Poverty


There is a famous convention held each year in California called "TED". At the TED convention, thousands of people come to hear extraordinary ideas from speakers from all over the world. Their tagline reads: Ideas Worth Spreading. The ideas range from the latest life-changing technologies to issues like poverty. Jacqueline Novogratz uses her 15 minutes of fame to talk about micro-finance in Uganda and her experiences in the world of poverty. She discusses realistic ways of "tackling poverty through patient capital". Watch this fascinating video and you'll learn something new.
