With the Help of US Funded AIDS Relief, HIV + Woman Lets Little Stand in Her Way

Meet Mestawit, an amazing woman from Ethiopia. While she is HIV-positive, she lets little stop her from making a living, supporting her family, and educating her community.

She does not hide her HIV status from her community, but instead uses it as a tool to educate others to what the disease is all about and what they can do in their own lives to prevent infection.

This video is part of a Living Proof Video series that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation released to educate the public to the progresses being made in the area of global health with the help of U.S. investments.
