Indian President Hungry for Food Security


As economies around the world slowly recover in the coming years from the economic downturn faced worldwide the government in India will be acting in protecting its poor from the impact of food inflation.

Food stability and security is a problem that is faced by hundreds of millions around the world and significant strides are being taken by the Indian government to soften the impact of food inflation throughout the country.

President Pratibha Patil states that "it is imperative that our economy grows aspace, and that the disadvantaged sections of society be made part of the Indian success story."
