Hope Through Healing Hands recently announced a partnership with Brad Paisley who will be going on an H20 World Tour this summer, educating and advocating for clean and accessible water around the world.
Currently, one out of every seven people lacks access to clean, safe drinking water; this world tour is also hopes to rally support for the Senator Paul Simon Water for the World Act of 2009, which plans to provide 100 million people with first-time, sustainable access to safe drinking water and sanitation by 2015.
The Hope Through Healing Hands organization sees clean water as a first and crucial step towards ending poverty. To learn more about the clean water crisis, this short video by Bill Frist, Board Chair Senator of the organization, documents the crisis and possible solutions in Mozambique.
